At Shediac @ Witzend, our goal is to provide a fun experience for our players. We will do everything possible to make your game enjoyable! Here are a few tidbits to help you maximize the fun!
What is an Escape Room?
Our escape rooms are a physical and mental real-life adventure games where players work as a team to find clues, understand elements of the room, and solve a series of puzzles. Our rooms are themed, each with a unique mood, design, size, difficulty, storyline, and objective to engage the players as they progress through the environment. The goal remains the same: Escape before the time runs out!
If you don’t escape in time, our game masters will walk you through the ending. None of the rooms are intended to scare or startle.
Making Reservations
Our booking is currently done by phone: 532-4911.
Group Size
Our games are optimally designed for the number of people listed on the Website. However, not all groups have the same needs, so please call and we will try to make arrangements to help ensure that you & your group have a great time!
Arrival
We ask that you and your group arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled time, to allow everyone enough time to sign the waiver, hear the rules, and get psyched up to start on time! We can only allow X minutes for each session. If you are late, it could cut into your time and your game experience might be affected.
Maximizing the Fun
In order to ensure an hour of uninterrupted fun, it makes sense to mute or power off your cellphone and to use the restroom before the game begins before entering the game area. Dress comfortably! We welcome costume dressing as well!
Pets
Service animals are always welcome, but other pets are not.
Age-Appropriateness
There is no age limit for our games, though the puzzles are designed for adults. Teams of players under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult. We don’t recommend bringing babies as it makes focusing on the game extremely difficult; however, they are not prohibited.

Health Conditions
Players should notify us in advance of any health conditions so we can suggest the best room for them. The game does generate excitement, so if you can't stand it you should not play!
